The Concrete2Green Futsal Center opened Saturday with a tournament. Up to 16 teams were expected.  The first match of the tournament was between Manchester United and Newcastle.  Futsal is a condensed version of soccer that is gaining popularity in the U.S.  Charlotte businessman Akbar Majeed has converted the old ice rink at Eastland Mall into soccer fields.
